I have a 1999 gmc sierra and I am having trouble getting the key to turn consistently..It usually works when I turn the wheel and it locks into position- but it takes a couple tries to get it to work, I am not sure if there is something mechanically wrong with it or if I'm just not starting it correctly? thanks

 

steering wheel lock is probably not locking or stuck a little bit. try parking with the wheels straightened out next time.

 

Most times its the key worn down...but don't "copy" the worn key...get a fresh one cut from the key-code
