Default Installed a TSB...

So, I ordered a throttle body spacer from Summit Racing. It's made by Trans-Dapt. They don't show it in the catalog for some reason, but it was only $49.00. It's aluminum and came with everything I needed,(and an extra gasket). It has the swirl design. I installed it, it took a whole 10 minutes. Performance was awesome!!! Much more than I expected from it. Highly recommend it. I havn't had a chance to test the fuel milage claims, but I'll keep you posted. Also installed an Auto Meter Air/Fuel ratio gauge and a steering column pod. Works great.

Can you put a TBS on a 6.0L without the air tube pushing into the fan bezel?

Superdd, with the factory intake hose, you shouldn't have a problem. After I installed my TBS, I had to cut a block out of the plastic to make my CAI fit. I plan on going to electric fans soon, so it really doesn't matter. If you install electric fans, you want have a clearance problem at all.

THE RESULTS ARE IN!!! I usually got 400 miles to a tank on my normal driving. I'm at 350 miles and I still have 1/4 tank. I'll give you the final results when I fill up. I'm thinking it'll be about 440 miles...

That is a hell of a increase! I haven't had a chance to test my mpg as of yet.

Yeah, sounds like the 1-2 MPG increase isn't a bunch of BS after all.

Did you notice throttle response increase? That was my biggest factor. It is a lot quicker with the TBS.

Yeah, It helped a lot with the response.Whatreally I noticed was I didn't have to keep my foot in it as deep to maintain a certainspeed.
