Default Intake

Hello,
I want add an air intake to my 2004 1500 truck. There is a sensor right behind my air filter box. Has any one here put one on without a CEL?

Thanks,
Tom

the sensor fits in with the cai. as long as you leave the sensor in you should be fine, but to fully take advantage of the mod, you should get a tune.

Thanks,

That is the exact same one I have on my truck 5.3l. It has worked well for me. I matched it up with a Z06 MAF sensor from an 02 vette. But that Spectre set up is pretty good for the price. They sell those at Autozone off the shelf for $149.
