ipod touch and iphone

i've looked and looked and can't find anything on connecting an iphone or ipod touch to a 2006 silverado with factory radio? want to keep my 6 cd changer radio but would like to hook itouch to it. i want one that charges the itouch as well as play through radio but just playing would be GREAT!!! any ideas? thanks in advance!!!

does your radio have an auxillary port? if it does you can buy a chord that connects to any ipod to let you control it through the radio (120 bucks from what ive seen)....i think thats the only way to do it through your stock radio

you can buy an fm tuner (mine was like 70 bucks) for the ipod, mine works perfectly.
only downside is you cant control the ipod through the radio itself.

I installed the Precision Interface Electronics GM12-AUXv2 in my 06 with factory and XM. This option only gave me RCA stereo, I just bought a RCA stereo to 1/8'. The installation was very easy, just make sure you have a volt meter. Looking at crutchfield.com there is an unit called USA Spec IPod Interface, it says it will work with the factory cd changer and charge you ipod\iphone. If I knew I was getting an Iphone I might of spent the extra money and bought the Ipod Interface.
