So I traded in my 2004 4.8L 1500 (thousands invested in lift/rhino liner/side steps/intake/exhaust/hypertech/trans/rear end/etc...) for a 2009 5.3 with the 6-speed trans. I'm soooo happy with this truck, even though it's only been a week. I've got twice the truck for the same montly payment. Chevy is almost GIVING these trucks aways with 0% for 5 years!
This is my first time visit to "truckforums.com". If anybody has any good "info" I should know about the '09 let me know. Thanks!

haha welcome and congrats as well. You sound like me when I got my truck new. You should get incredible gas milage with that 5.3. I get an average of 22 on highway with a 6.0.
