Just Bought a Chevy
I have always owned a dodge but I found a deal on a 2002 3/4 ton chevy 6.0L LS, 86,000 miles paid $12,500 from a small dealership. How did I do? Anything in the way of problems I should be aware of? Anyways I would like to stick a set of tires on her looking at Dunlop MTRs 265 75 16 will they work? Also a flow master dual exit exaust do they make it for this truck? And a Voulant air intake? Any other suggestions

RE: Just Bought a Chevy
sounds like a good deal. You will like the Volant, as well as the flowmasters. Then I would look at TBS, some of the free mods, some headers, and custom tune. Not sure about the tires as I don't know 2500 very well, but I think they should fit as my stock tires were taller than that.

Based on what I've read the 265 75 16 MTR tires should work without rubbingand look better than the stock. Hope that is the case just looking for confirmation. Also I can't find the flowmaster dual rear exit exhaust for this truck, do they make a kit for it?

You got a great deal.
I paid $12,995 for my 03 eclb 2500 hd w/t with 95k on it. It did come with many options, like cruise, tinted windows, skid plates and limited slip rear.
As for 285/75/16s on a hd. They fit fine. You will have to trim the back edge of the lower valance on the front bumper. It took me less than 5 min to do both sides with a sharp box cutter.
