But if you have a 4 wheel drive, and never put it in 4WD, then you will have more problems.
1. You have to engage the 4WD every so often to keep everything lubicated.
2. If you are not going to use 4WD, why pay for the extra gas since you are carrying alot more weight with the front differential, transfercase , driveshaft, axle, etc.

MrLM7 - I understand, it is just way too expensive. I would take out the fuse so I didn't forget and put it in by mistake. Also you can get in some soft dirt or sand and put it in 4-wheel just to keep everything lubricated.
