RE: just a quick question
on mine it came with a bracket to move them to the proper position. all you did was undo two screws, put the bracket on, and put the screws back on. very simple. once i figured out what to do. the instructions sucked. but overall its pretty easy.

RE: just a quick question
YOU KNOW WHAT, I HAVE A 1997 GMC SIERRA 5.7 AND THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH THE K&N. K&N DOESN'T WORK WITH A TBS I HAD TO MAKE A SPECIAL MODIFICATION TO MAKE IT WORK. AS FOR THE TWO CABLES, I DIDNT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS, YES THEY DO LIKE YOU NEED A BRACKET TO ADJUST THEM, BUT MINE DIDNT COME WITH IT SO I JUST BENT THE BRACKET IT HAS TO MAKE IT FIT AND I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT SINCE I PUT IT ON. IF YOU HAVE A K&N INTAKE, GOOD LUCK MAN, I HAD TO TAKE OFF THE HEAT SHEILD JUST TO MAKE IT FIT, AND WHEN YOU CLOSE THE HOOD, THE TOP OF THE INTAKE HITS IT. BUT IT DOSE SOUND NICE AFTER YOU PUT IT ON, IT HAD A DEEPER SOUND AND MAKES A WHISTLE NOISE WHEN YOU STEP ON THE GAS

I got mine at "JCWHITNEY.COM". There, I think it was just a little over 100$, go with the Airaid. But dont be suprised if you dont nottice any change but a slight whistle noise. I have the 01' Silverado and thats all the 100$ got me. . Good Luck!
