I know that alot of people lift their 2wd trucks and I was just wondering why? i would of thought u should only lift a 4wd truck. Is there a thought behind it like a benifit or anything? im just wondering

looks, being able to see over traffic, and i mean, it still will help with offroad, if all you have is 2wd and you dont want a new truck... a lot of pre-runner trucks that run in sand dunes are 2wd... guess you dont need 4wd in sand? idk

Ive heard of successful off road runs in 2wd trucks. All you need is a lift, a locking diff and some skill. You figure a 4X4 with open differentials is technically 2wd, and so would a 2wd truck with a locker, right?

ive gotten myself out of some sticky situations with a 2wd open diff no lift and highway tires. id say its mainly driver skill.
