my 2003 GMC 3500 4x4 the light flashes when no seat belt is fastened but no chime, really no problem here in NH but when I forget to take the key out also no chime. I was wondering where this chime is located and is it the same one for the seat belt warning chime? I purchased this used and I found a 10 amp fuse in the little cubby hole under the radio and maybe some one took it out to stop the noise so where or what fuse runs the chime?

If it's a factory stereo the chimes should come through the drivers door speaker (at least they did on my '05 1500), so it may just be a blown speaker. If its aftermarket stereo the chimes won't work, but they do make an adapter if this is the case.
