Thought I was done with the problems of the dex cool coolant after I changed the intake gaskets. Two weeks later and my water pump goes out. I am so pissed at gm for putting this **** in their vehicles, I have now replaced 4 sets of intake gaskets and water pumps in all of my gm vehicles within 60000 miles. After changing the gaskets and water pumps I put it and using the green prestone coolant I have gotten up to 175000 in my last truck with no problems (I sold it). There must be some lawsuit against gm for this, I know I am out well over $1500 and all of my own labor because of the ****.

My advice to everyone is flush the dex cool out of your coolong system or you will pay big down the road.
