LED Light bars
Has anyone put on or know if i can put one on an '02 Avalanche, below the tailgate. I tryed with a regular boat trailer light bar and they were too tall and hit the tailgate when it was lowered. Not sure about this kind. I believe these are thin enuf to use w/o any problems. Thanx, Jim

RE: LED Light bars
I bought one from an auto parts store. (Advance Auto) A company called Optix makes it and it fits mine just fine. Ran about $40. They are universal as most full size trucks (even Avalanches) have the same tailgate width and clearance.

RE: LED Light bars
I saw one on a truck that the lights light up depending on how much you hit the brakes (or maybe how long you have been on them). They light up from the middle and work their way out. Is this what you guys are looking at, or are these on/off when you hit your brakes?
