Default Leveling and Tire Question!

Ok guys here what i got for ya. I am not looking at getting some 305/70/17 tires. I have found a nice leveling kit 3" front 1"back. Now with the leveling kit will I be able to fit those tires on my truck with little to no rubbing. If not then how much do you think I would have to cut?

You should be good. I have no lift at all and fit 285/70/17s with no rubbing even when stuffed. You are only talking 1" taller than my tires. Also be aware that depending on your gear ratio you may lose alot of pickup. By the way, what kind of lift and how much did it run you?

It is made by Truxxx its only 300 with shipping. Found it on ebay. Comes with everything shock extenders, blocks and ubolts. Seems like a good deal to me. It is item number 250152025437 if you want to check it out and see what you think!

Let me know how the install goes and if you experienced any issues with the ride quality after the lift went on. I've heard after cracking up the torsion bars to 3" you loose all upward travel and the ride is terrible.
If all goes well with your ride, I might do the same!

I'd do the kit on ebay. Thats cool that it comes with the U-bolts and everything cause the old ones will need replaced anywho. Maybe its just me but the 2"-3" front-only kits look like they boost the front higher than the rear and I don't know if I like that. I would much rather do front and rear to match (do the front 3" and the rear 1"). Technically you can go to an auto parts store and get the 2" block2 for the rear too for like $20. As far as ride quality goes, the "tortion key" sets are supposed to have a "stock feel" and with the use of the shock extenders I can see this being a pretty good possibility.
