hey guys i really like the look of a jacked truck, i got an 01 1500 and want to put a 6" lift on it, just wanted to know how much gas milage goes down? and i think 33s would make it better on gas then 35 but do 33s look too small with a 6" lift. if i put a cold air intake and a chip would my mpgs be close to what they were before a lift?

i put a leveling kit on my truck and it didnt change the milage, throw on the 18'' rims and 33 nitto trail grappler m/t and my milage is anywhere from 13-16mpg. 16 being literally allllll highway. thats with the 5.3 z71 4x4. i bet you will get 12-15 with a 6inch lift and 33s and 10-14 with 35s. chip wouldnt do much, maybe 1 mpg and same to cold air intake i had a k&n on my old 2wd 5.3 and i didnt see too much of a difference maybe a few mpg if i babied her. but honestly if your worried about fuel milage then you shouldnt do it. cause you wont ever get anything close to 20 or 22 your prob getting right now.. or should be getting i think..
