Im wanting to get better gas milage along with performance, I heard a tuner might help. I don't know much about this, can anyone give me some advise on what I should use. Not really wanting to spend too much money.

I have a 2001 Silverado 1500HD 6.0 with about 120k miles
Just got a flowmaster dumped and thats about it.


Anyone has any ideas on better MPG that would be awesome, I thinkim getting 13 or so Hwy.

 

A true tune is good, but if you are not wantingto spend a lot of Denero then look on Craigs list for a used hand held. Some hand helds are Superchips, Hypetech, Diablo, etc... Just got to pick 1. I have the Superchips Flashpaq. It is a WHOLE lot better than the Hypertech III I had.
