lowering a 4x4 sierra

I wanted to get my 1990 k-2500 sierra professionally lowered. Alot of people have said its really hard to do. Anybody know anything about this?

Ok thanks alot, I have seen these kits available for SUV's. So is a 4x4 truck the same then?
