I just got a 2007 Silverado. I am trying to find a lowering kit to lower it about 2" in the front and 4" in the back to fill the wheel wells up a little. Anyone seen such kit? Or know where to start looking?

Why would you want to?

 

Because this thing sits too freakin high for me it sits higher than my father-in-laws stock 96 Z71. It's 2 wheel drive, I live in the city and it will never go off road.

 

fair enough lol... the new trucks do sit really high... as far as a lowering kit, i have no idea, they may not even have one yet, theres not many lift kits out there i know

 

Yea, I can't seem to find anything. I can find one for a 2006 but thats as close as I can get.

Oh I forgot one other reason. My wife is short and she has a hard time getting in and out of it.... lol.

How about some westin stainless steel nerfbars and some low profile tires? She can get in and the truck'll be down a little. I know what you mean, my wife is 5'nothing and she can't wait until I get some nerf bars.

03missouridirt you beat me to it! i just looked at those, they only have crew cab and regular cab... thats what i was about to say though is if they dont have one they're probably working on one, so i'd give one of those manufacturers a call and see what the status is

 

There are a ton of chevy lowering kits in Truckin magazine. I'm also thinking about lowering mine.... just as soon as my Camaro is done that is (maybe a couple years, LOL)
