MAF
Does anybody know if the aftermarket MAF sensors can read higher airflow than stock? for example (and these are random numbers) if the stock sensor can read 0-800 CFM, is this the same for the aftermarket? Or can the aftermarket read say 0-1000 CFM? This will make a big difference in performance as the computer will not adjust far enough without the correct info.
I've been looking around for custom tunes and all the tuners say not to change the MAF, because it will cause a performance loss when you get a tune. They say it's hard to make it match up, data wise, as the aftermarket MAFs give a different signal... Just a thought. I know you want to do the heads and cam swap.
