Hello -

Sorry about the cross post. I have a 2003 Sierra that has some odd black cured urethane or some other unknown substance on the dark gray plastic dash pad. I've tried heating and chipping at it and it only makes whatever it is spread. Goo Gone doesn't seem to have any effect on it. Any suggestions on what I could use that won't damage the dash? If it won't come off or results in discoloration I'll have to replace it because I'm too picky for my own good. Does anyone have an online resource or a manual with instructions on how to remove the dash pad safely? I'm mostly concerned about any hidden screws or anything involving the passenger side airbag. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
