I have a 99 sierra and the passengers side wiper arm sits higher than the driver's side. Because this is only on one side does the wiper just have to be adjusted (if so how) or could this possibly be a worn motor?

something slipped,probably due to ice....take the cowling off and there is an adjustment on the wiper transmission
