RE: mud flaps: yes or no
...and if you can, avoid the 'man' like the plague. I took the tiny mud flaps off of my ACURA INTEGRA and I got a ticket for it. WTF? It sat 2 inches off the fackin ground, why does it need mud flaps?

I had the hard plasticmud flaps for a while and after several times of sitting off at a distance looking at them... they just didnt look appealing. I would get some huge floppy ones if i was sportin boggers on a 8" lift but thats it.

I personally like the way they look. I love having them on my truck and wouldnt take them off. The also have a good use on my truck not only for the off road but the big pot holes that were stated in a previous post. Its all a presonal preference.

I'm a newb here but I thought I'd chime in, I think if you have the fender flares on they look great, if you don't have fender flares it's kinda toss up. I just recently purchased my first gm product its an '03 silverado 1500 4x4, i'm gonna put black fender flares on and since the truck is arrival blue i'm gonna put the black rubber flaps on with the blue chevy logo so I don't think it will look to bad, but I have a question. The flaps I found come in 2 different sizes 11"x19" and 9"x15", I'm thinking I need the 9"x15" but i'm not sure, any help?

The only people I get coming in O'reilly Auto Parts looking for Mud Flaps are really old farts. Personally I find them extremely distasteful.

The tastes must be different in different areas, around me the only trucks without them are 4x2 trucks that never leave the pavement. Otherwise all of the real trucks have them.

Ha ha ha....gay guys *****. EW!
I had aluminum flaps/steps on my 99 and they didn't do **** to stop the rust. All they did was protect SOME (not all) of my rockers and doors from stones being thrown by the tires. Thats it, nothing more. Still got rust and a good amount mud on the sides, just fewer scratches and dings from stones.
