Default Need help with TBS install!!!

OK - I may just be stupid, but I cannot figure out what is going on.... First off I cannot figure out how to readjust the idle after installing the spacer. Second, and this is the big one, I made sure everything was clear and went ahead and fired up the truck and it's like the computer is flooring it for me. Is it recalibrating itself or what?????

I really need it in the morning so if you guys can help out I would be so appreciative.
Thanks a ton guys!

Did you install the cable / linkage spacer(s)?

They don't fit on this application from what I can tell. The instructions say that for the linkage spacers the engine has to be a 99-02 with two bolts holding the linkage together, but my truck looked like it had three. I may have been looking in the wrong spot?

If I'm not talking out my ***, I think you have three bolts there. The one on the top is in line with the one on the bottom, and the one in the middle is off to the driver's side, correct?

I went and looked and there are three bolts holding the cable to the manifold and the directions only mentioned using the linkage spacers with the 2 bolt linkage and only supplied two spacers.......
It's the Trans Dapt kit and it seems alright - I'm just wondering if they may have sent the wrong kit? It's supposed to be the same kit for most late model GM V-8's. I ordered hunt4game's spacer the same time I ordered mine and asked the dude from Summit over the phone if they were the same kit and he said the numbers on his computer said they were so I'm just confused....

That should do it. Let me know if it doesn't.

Yes, ignore the one towards the driver side. You will not use that one. Just the two in a row. You should have a little slack in the throttle cable and that should do it. If your idle is higher than normal, let us know and will help ya further.
