Default Need more HP

I bought a 2008 GMC Sierra (TX Edition) truck about 6 months ago. It has the 4.8 V8 in it. I want to do some baisc upgrades to get more HP. Suggestions? I have looked at the following:

1) Cold Air Intakes (there are a lot out there)
2) Cold Air Intakes (Supercharger System) basicly an intake with a power fan
3) Spark Plugs
4) Performance Chips
5) Thortte Body Spacers

What is the best Bang for the Buck??

custom tune by nelson performance or black bear perfromance. since it is an 08 i would suggest paying the extra money to keep your original pcm for warrenty work. this is the best $300 or so bucks you will ever spend on your truck. get 80% of your Torque management removed.

#1 is a good idea i have a K&N kit and it works well
#2 never heard of them, probably extra money for no benefit
#3 just use whatever the factory plugs are, these motors stock dont really see any improvement with expensive plugs
#4 Custom Tune. no progrmmers except for the diablo sport
#5 useless on non carb or tbi trucks

good luck

a programer with intake and exhaust put it this way by adding a aftermarket intake you are letting more air in so you also need to be able to le more air out(exhaust)
