well, im not sure what to say about the flowmaster. i have the k&n cold air with a magnaflow single in dual out muffler. before the exhaust i got about 16 in the city, once i added the exhaust i seemed to have lost city mileage, however with the air intake and the exhaust combined i gained about 4-4.5 mpg on the highway. at 80mph i get 20-21, depending on hills, traffic, etc. but id say your best bet is to maybe think about a different muffler and go with duals. some duals with hurt the mileage, some will help. it all depends.
and one question, my truck has 142k miles with the stock cats. will changing them do anything?

already bought a little honda for cruising around in, but I drive the truck from tennesse to new york pretty regular. $400 a trip is getting old.

BTW, what's a TBS?

Still fixing the Prizm, can't wait to get the timing belt and struts done. My baby is going in the garage when the Prizm is all fixed up. If I get 30 mpg from that thing I'll be thrilled.

yeah i think these people buying all these hybrids are crazy. Why would i pay 20-30K for a new car that looks like it just drove out of a cartoon when i can buy a used car for 2-3K and get the same if not better (usually better) mpg.

Edited for truth.

NOPE 22 MPG out of turbos you get a lot better gas milage if you can keep your foot out of it.
