Default New Guy..... Tire PSI sensor question.

New guy here. I have searched for prior postings on this but didn't find any. So, I bring the question to the collective brain trust that is the Silverado Forum. I have a 2008 3/4 ton Duramax with 4 wheel drive. It has a PSI sensor (in the wheels I guess) that give you a dash read out on tire pressure. Recently I switched to a more off road worthy tire that runs at a lower PSI. Now I am getting a low pressure warning on the dash all the time. Is there a way to reprogram the desired PSI? I have to admit I don't know much about how the sensor works.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dave.

Take them off and I'll see if I can find what the solution is, there was another thread on it
