New to me 92' 1500 SWB 4x4 need details

What is the best way to find out the mechanical details about my PU?
I didn't have much luck googling the vin.

BTW,
I have alway been a chevy guy, except I did own one F@#d in the 90's

I would pick up a Chilton or Haynes manual. They are full of useful information.
