Hey I'm Jon or Goose I live in Kingsland GA/Jacksonville FL currently in VA for school. I'm in the Navy where im a machinist/welder/firefighter, I've got your basic off-road 4x4 06 Chevy Silverado V8 4.8 with a 6" RCD Lift, 17" Ultra Thunder Rims, some BFG A/T 35"x12.50", some custom true dual pipes from Awesome Muffler in GA, and K&N Cold Air 77 series intake along with a lovely programmer. I race Motocross and work on bikes in my off time so if you have any questions about machining, metal, or needing parts made or about a motorcycle even get at me

Hey Jon, Welcome to our forum. I was wondering what your gas mileage is like with the 35's and did you do any gear changes? I have an '03 Silverado with the 4.8L and single in, dual out Flowmaster catback system, and the K&N FIPK as well. Just curious. I love the LQQKS of lifted vehicles, but with gas prices, highly unlikely i won't do it as the wife would have a cow. Jim

hey bro whats goin on the gas mileage wasnt bad once i got the air intake and exhaust in. but once you drop that programmer in i gained a good 6-9 highway mpg's and 3-4 street. def a plus for a truck like that. its def. a nice rig i got her for good. im likin the hood scoops on that hood though. nice truck

Good to see another member of the Naval service.

I've been out for a while though. Some kind of magical world between being a retarded civilian and a halfway competent Corporal.
