I am itching for some new inexpensive performance mods, but not sure what to do next ( I really need some low end, but not sure how to get it cheap) Maybe the custom ram air? (Will help high not low unfortunately) I see we have some new folks here so maybe new ideas. I was thinking about making a custom intake in front of the radiator that will go to the bottom of the air box which has a 3" hole in it. Any ideas on what to use? The closest have found if air vent material from Home Depot, but it may hold heat more than plastic. So, any other ideas?

No ideas on your custom air intake setup but what about lightweight underdrive pullies? I've been curious what kind of difference they'll make on our trucks but haven't had the guts to try them out yet.

I wanna try that fuel catalyst but Im gonna wait til someone else installs it so I can see if I'll actually save money on gas. Its supposed to be like running high octane on 87.

Volant makes a Ram air attachment. The fart fan duct from HD doesn't hold heat very well. It's aluminum and very thin.

The underdrive pulleys look like a good idea, but why are they soo expensive? And the only one I see for my truck is the harmonic balancer.

I just talked to a few people at a local performance shop and they said that underdrive pulley's wouldn't do anything noticable for our trucks. *shrug*

I had them on my old 5.0 and all they really did was make the alternator work harder at night.
