New potential owner... Please help me! :)
Hi!
I live in montreal canada. Excuse my poor English im a french canadian.
I searching for a new truck. I like the little ford ranger... but i see this week the big silverado. and WOW...
I can have for the same price or the ranger, a silverado 1500 classic, manual with 4,3 and 4x4. Single cab.
I want know if it a good truck. I know its not the v8, but i can buy a truck a 30K. But for 20k, i can have a full size truck.
I just want lift it, installer bigger tire, and run it.
I want manual transmision. Is a good transmission? SMoth?
Thanks a lot!
And a lift kit for this truck is very $$$$?
a 4,3 with 4x4, in low ration can i go play in mud?

yea, that will be an overall good truck. Good in the mud, and on ice. Lifts are pretty expensive for all trucks, but they are not higher than any other. Manual transmission is good, and gives you more controll. Good luck on your choise.

Go for it! You will regret getting a smaller truck. I got an s10 4 banger before i got my 4.3 silverado. I hated every minute in that little piece of junk! I wished i found the silverado sooner. good luck
