RE: New Springs/Leaf Springs
It will work but its a bit of work to put them in. You can find kits that have the drop spindles for the front and the lowering shackels for the rear that aren't too bad in price.

You can get2" drop shackles for about $50...

But why? I do not understand lowering trucks. Its a truck, jack it to the sky! I guess its a southern thing.

RE: New Springs/Leaf Springs
I like lifted trucks more then the low riders, but i only want to lower my truck an inch or two, just for a better ride and handling. Plus i couldnt afford to raise my truck right now, the actual lift and the mpg id get.

But it looks so nice and my truck rides great. Its funny when my wife drives my truck she barely keeps it under the governer, bu tonly goes 5-10 over in her car. She says the truck rides so good you can't tell how fast you are going. I also drive alot slower in her car. You won't see me lowering, not ever. Like I said it is the redneck in me.
