Newbie here. I have recently purchased a 1998 Chevy Extended cab C1500 that has a few issues. I found this forum and most of my issues are listed as common, lol. I had a 1992 Chevy C1500 conversion that got totaled in the snow and this is it's replacement. I also have a modded 2002 Camaro SS, hence the screen name that I have on other boards. Looks like a great forum so far.

 

What's up to all the truck enthusiast. My name's Reed from Houma, Louisiana and 21 yrs old. I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado ext cab with the 5.7L 350 vortec. I've installed true duel Flowmaster Exhaust with 3"tips, a K&N cool air intake, Airaid Throttle body spacer and a Hypertech Max Programmer. I ran my truck on the track two weeks ago and ran consistently mid 15s. I would like to get it to run in the mid 14s to high 14s eventually. So if I would purchase a cam and lifter kit which would be best for the truck with the add-ons i currently have.

 

I just got a "92 sierra sle waldach, 4wd, 4.3, 5 spd. also working on a "79 ElCamino,305,auto. Used to bo only fords (sorry) but am moving on.

Here we go, checking in! I am OJ Webster, Montgomery, Alabama. I purchased a 2010 Silverado, Reg cab, short bed, V-6, WT Version. I have an '03 Corvette and an '06 Hummer H3, both of which I have converted into show vehicles. I needed a truck and a vehicle I could drive in the rain, therefore the Silverado. However, I have only had it three weeks and have already added over $2500 in after market mods and accessories. Trust me, it needed some. When the opportunity presents itself, I will post some before and after pics. Although, my other two vehicles are exception attention getters, I do love my SILVERADO!!! By the way, it is Victory Red.
