I got a new shift motor and now it doesn't work at all. would this be wireing i also replaced the TCCM with no luck. my truck is a 2004 sierra crew with short box 6L engine

Another newbie checking in. Have a 1993 Sierra K1500. Was my father-in-laws,I just bought for a dollar in april. My dipstck sister-in-law was going to give it to charity. Had some problems, timing off 10 degrees, loose exhaust manifold and had to start off by powerwashing the mold and grunge off of it. Thats due to three crack head brother-in-laws getting a hold of it before I did. Having a blast upgrading and improving the girl with no wild modifications in mind.

Checkin' in as a newb to this forum. Bought a 1998 GMC K2500 yesterday and dropped it off at my trusted mechanics place. Approx. 223,000km's [Canadian Truck] on the 5.7L, SL package work truck, extended cab, short box.
Appears to be in pretty good shape all things considered. My mechanic is in the process of replacing:
Truth be known, I haven't really had the opportunity to get very familiar with this truck yet. All in good time. I really like it so far and plan on keeping it quite a while.

- Rear brake pads
- Tie rod ends
- Upper ball joints
- Fuel pump
- Interior door handles
- Door pins
- Motor mounts
- Probably drive line U-joints
