I have an 05 Sierra 4X4 crew cabwith the 5.3L. I currently have no power under 2500 RPM's. I can mash the throtel to the floor and get no wheel spin and it just seems to lag. i was pulling a buddy out of the ditch the other dayand i had no power to jerk him out. Any one know what is up here. I have lots of power once i get over 2500 RPM's and its like turbo lag. It hits 3000 RPM's and runs like a raped ape. Any help would be appreciated

 

Its called Torque Management. basically it limits torque out put to help protect the drive train. get a custom tune by Nelson performance or blackbear performance with 80% of the TM removed and you will be happy.

 

sweet thanks. now that i know that i am finding alot more stuff about it. so other flash tuners will take care of this right.

 

dont waste any money on a hand held tuner, they are pointless. the predator is the only one that will address TM and for the money it costs, you can get a custom tune. good luck
