I have a 1996 v6 1500, i have had a few problems lately. first is that my clutch is slipping pretty bad so i have to replace that, but because of my inability to rev under load due to clutch slippage my other problem went un-noticed for a while. i put it in neutral and tried to rev past 3000 rpms. i could not and when i hit the gas more the rpms fell to about 2500. now i replaced the fuel filter, and cleaned my MAF sensor, did not seem to help at all. i was going to try to take the cat off to see if it was clogged but the guy that had it before my had it all welded up so i couldnt do that. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated, i have an OBDII diagnostic tool on the way but it is going to take a while to get here and i am not sure that i want to drive it to a shop just yet.
