Default oil pressure

hey guys, i have a 1999 GMC sierra. recently when i started it i noticed the oil pressure drop to 0. i immediately shut it off and looked around. all the oil was on the ground. well, the oil filter o-ring had slipped out a bit. the filter was still plenty tight so i can only guess it was due to high pressure. i put it back together and went to get oil for an oil change as it was due anyway. now it seems to be fine, it's been about a week and a half but what im noticing is the pressure is a bit high to what it used to be. it runs steady at 3/4 of the way up.
not sure what that is cause its in kpa. its right between 275 and 550 anyway. it used to run between 275 and the next dash. when warm and idling it runs 275.
what is normal and should i worrie or have the gauge tested. no fluctuating just a steady 3/4.
