I am trying to locate the oil pressure sending unit on a 2000 3/4 ton with the 6.0 litter V8. Any advice of where to locate this. I have looked in 2 different books and no luck. I am looking for this so I can try to replace this item to see if I actually have low oil pressure. I was driving down the hwy the other day and noticed that my oil pressure had dropped from 45-70PSI to 20-45 PSI. When my truck is cold the oil pressure is low (this is the complete opposite of what I would think should happen at -10 degrees F) I stopped right away and let the truck cool down and then checked the oil level (it was full) I have been keeping an eye on it but still no change. Please help!!!
