I have a 98 silverado with 145,000 miles on it. I just replaced the intake manifold gasket. Put everything back together and it ran good for a few days with no leaks. Then there was a massive oil leak. I thought it was coming from the oil filter housing. Took that off, inspected and cleaned it and put new gaskets on as well as the two oil coolant lines. Same thing happened again. I then determined that it was blowing out the oil filter gasket. Tried a new filter and gasket for that and made sure it was tight. Same thing happened. Anybody that can give me any help would be awesome.......for some reason, ther is too much pressure in the oil filter and the gasket it failing.

Yes, thought of that. And I actually put the oil filter onto the filter housing while it was off the truck to make sure it was on strait and tight.
