ok so my drls dont work

Default ok so my drls dont work

ok so i got bored today and went to the local auto parts store to get some new drl bulbs to put in my truck as the were burnt out well replaced the bulbs and they still dont work i had my brother put the truck in gear and me stand in front to look at them nothing happened i have auto lights that turn on when it gets a to be about dark and at dark
i also did the click the dome overide 4 times nothing happened other then me ablle to control the lights
any help would be appriciated im gonna mod the drls after i can figure out how to get them working again
and my truck is an 01 silverado 2500 hd 6.0 manufactured in the states if that matters any

When I bought mine, both bulbs were burnt out as well as the fuse.

i have replaced teh fuses and relays altough they didnt need it im leaning towards checking the sensor and the drl control module then maybe the body control module next but if it goes to that im not gonna bother just to be able to mod them

Make sure your parking brake is ALL the way up by pulling the release handle, and the peddle up. That's one of the weird things in Chevys and GMC's, if you push the parking brake, it turns off the DRL's, even if the truck is in gear.

I have mine so all my lights can come on at the same time, Hi's, Low's, DRL's, and the four KC Daylighters that are wired to my factory driving lights.

Did you run the wires all from the hot wires for the low beams
