No. I spliced in a ground wire on the driver side low beam, DRL and driving lamp. I just spliced into the ground for each one, and grounded it to the frame. So, my low/high still work the same way, other then that the low beam stays on with the high beam, and then the DRL's are on full time, and then the driving lamps/KC Daylighters come on with the driving lamp button on the dash.

So if you only wanted to do the DRL's, you could just reground those, and it would work. I like how that guy had the orange bulbs in his. I have a blue tinted one in mine right now.

I had green ones for awhile. I took them out and put them in my brothers truck, and put the HID ones in. I have HID in all 12 of the lights on the front of my truck.

They are nice, and actually even in that tiny little lenses put out quite a bit of light. I know i over do my headlights, but i live in Alaska, and drive a lot in the winter after dark with moose running around, so I spend the money on good lights, and lots of them.

Meh. My regular headlights work fine. I just buffed/cleaned my lenses too, so they work really good. Lights up my whole street. Maybe I'm just a simpleton and I am used to sh*tty headlights, but I'm happy with what I have. I would like some brighter backup lights though ... gotta fix the passenger backup light. I got a wire hanging down behind my hitch that I think is what goes to the backup light.

I like being able to see all the way to the next bend in the road and a little past it. it only takes seeing one car hit a moose to never ever want that to happen. its like crashing into a brick wall, and is usually fatal.

I think I'm gonna get them because in Iowa deer jump out of no where especially around corners and I wouldn't want to hit a one Esther probably not as bad as a moose thow
Oh and yesterday I was off work early way before sunset and as I was pulling in my driveway I noticed my drls working as I seem the reflection on my brothers truck when I put it in park they want away also my hazards and turn signals kinda wig wag the turns signal will go then the park light will I think it looks great almost like the video I posted a few posts back
