P0137 code
sorry if this is a repeat ? but I could not find this topic listed.
I drive a 96 Chevy c1500 5.7L v8...
So I was recently I replaced my bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor.
After changing it the check engine light did not got out. (disconected the battery to reset). So ran to A-Z to find out what the code was and got P0137.
I checked the wires visually and there are no cracks or worn parts. Also used a voltmeter to see if there was a drop in the wires and there wasn't. So I am confused as to why I am getting a low voltage during the scan. Could the O2 sensor be bad? The cat. was replaced <5k mil ago and there are no exaughst leaks.
Any ideas on what I could check?

Here's some info that might help:

If you are still getting the same code after replacing the sensor, I'm betting it's an open or short in one of the O2 harness wires somewhere.
