Picking up my new 2008 2500HD tomorrow
Hey all-
New to this group but not to the Silverado. My 1994 has served me well for the past 13 years but she's rusting bad- replacing fuel and brake lines now, and getting slammed with bids. As usual, the wife had to beat it into my head to take the plunge, but free money from GM softened the landing. I like what they've done to the truck. From underneath, the first thing I noticed was that the fuel pump appears to be mounted to the side of the tank, and accessible, instead of on the top. 4-wheel disks are great, and I have it on good authority that the Vortec 6.0 is a tight engine. I have many questions and will spend time reading past threads and the FAQ, but I look forward to talking with you all. Hope to post some pics soon.

...and don't ever listen to anything a guy named 72Charger says. (He loves himself)
Welcome to the forum!
88-98 were all great trucks but 99 and up are completely different animals. Especially 05 and up. Had a 91, loved it but the 99 NBS rides like a Cadillac and runs like a scalded dog compared to the 91.
