Engine Pic: 350
Here is my '88 350. Stock heads, cam, and block, Holley intake, TBI with injectors raised 1/4 inch, Jegs distributor set to 6 degrees with brain shut off, medium length headers with catless 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust, no smog pump. Once in a while I get a code referring to the EGR, which is kinda funny, seeing how it doesn't have one. I upgraded to a 3-wire O2 sensor, dropped to a 180 degree thermostat, and run my plugs at .038.
People give me grief about the factory aircleaner, but every time I come back from the woods it is dirty, and if it didn't stick to the metal it would have clogged the air filter. Those housings bend the air correctly, and are good up to 6 grand and 600 cfm. My heads and cam flatten out at about 4800 and 450 cfm...if I start pulling vacuum at WOT I will change the housing, but until them I like clean air.
It feels pretty good. I had the 700R4 gone through and added a tranny cooler, which I really recommend, no matter what you do. The truck has real spunk, and is as reliable as can be

Got 'er a little muddy on the weekend - and I also managed to mess up my little fascia that goes under the front bumper ... got it jammed up pretty good against an embankment and tweaked the one tow hook
You can see on the passenger side that the fascia is ripped down and creased.
After I removed the fascia and front license plate mount
Parked in my driveway after a good wash and fascia removal
I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll probably take a heat gun to the fascia to fix the crease and put washers and nuts to replace the O.E fasteners that ripped the plastic when the fascia was pulled. Anyone have thoughts?
I'm gonna do a 2" torsion key and rear block lift to it one of these days. That should help with ground clearance.

Thanks Glen! Yeah it got wheeled out pretty good before I bought it. There's plenty of damage elsewhere as far as rust, stone chips and chipping paint, but what's there looks pretty good.
