Hi all, just a question and i have not found in other threads. This is a question regarding a canadian model truck. I was wondering if anyone has or would know where to find the original pinstripping for an 1986 chev wrangler paint code that i have is 29u. The truck has basically a unique paint scheme that came in slightly different variations. The 29u is the Dark Blue and there was a lighter blue that was the secondary color. Also if anyone knows the other paint code that would be helpful as well. From what i can tell there is either a three color blue pinstripe roughtly 1/2 inch or a 5 color pinstripe that is almost 1 inch. been looking for examples on line but no luck. All help would be appreciated.

I have this brochure sorry for the small size all i could get off of site. There was a limited amount of these trucks as they were canadian only. what i can see in the picture of the brocure i own is the three colored one however the truck i am helping my friend restore has the wider version and more colors. which we found tucked in behind the fender (truck was painted) so not sure which is original or not or both may be for all i know. i was only 7 after all when this truck hit the road.

Picturs on bottom are my friends two fenders and the others are a restored truck just to give you an idea of the model. hope this helps

I see that this is an old post, but I stumbled across it while searching for Wrangler. I have an 87 Wrangler and I contact the GM restoration division. It costs some money but they forwarded me the details for my truck based on the VIN and included the paint and stripe codes. (The stripe codes should also be listed in the glove box which you can search on line). You would likely have to get the stripe made yourself.
