Default power adders

I ordered a airaid throttle body spacer on Saturday so im excited to get it. Does anyone really think it will make a noticeable difference, or was it a waste of a hundred bucks?

Suprinsingly they actually work pretty good, dont expect to get blown back into your seat but you will notice alittle more power and a slight MPG increase, to compliment it you should get headers, new exhaust and a high flow intake.

I don't see how it could possibly benefit you. I have heard of a bunch of people buying those things for all makes and models and everyone says you can't really tell a difference.

i dont know exactly how it works, but i put a trans dapt tbs on my truck sunday and i could tell a difference, especially in mid-range torque, which is where my 4.8 was hurting anyway... definitely worth the 60 bucks

we put one on my buddy's gm on saturday. Were not sure what made the difference but we cleaned his old cold air filter and added a spacer and changed the plugs with some bosch 4+ plugs. together with all 3 things done it made a big difference. Im not big into racing If I was I would work on my old truck but whatever, I like a little bit more power. Mostly its for the added fuel economy(If there is any difference, we'll see).

ya i got a poweraid throttle body spacer on my 4.3L and i noticed it a little bit, when you rev it up in the driveway it makes it sound a little different, thats about all i noticed, haven't really checked the MPG yet.

I put the trans-dapt on my 6.0l and it actually made quite the difference. I was skeptical but it actually increased my throttle response and it boosted my milage by ~2mpg. Not much but when you're pulling 13mpg highway - going to 15 mpg makes a difference. I'm assuming it will make more of a difference if I did the throttle body coolant bypass, but I'm not worried about it that much.

Pretty much everybody here says it has helped in milage, mid range, sound, and throttle response.

Plus, if you get a high flow intake setup, it will whistle when you get on it...
