That button controls the wiring harness that's near the driver's side B pillar (as Argon mentioned). It will control whatever you connect there ... it is part of the "snow plow prep" package, so it was intended for "emergency" lights.

I WAS THINKING OF INSTALLING ROOF CAB LIGHTS UNTIL I THOUGHT OF THIS. I have onstar, temp, xm radio, and airbags up there. Wouldn't that make installation tricky?
