For about a year now I have noticed when ever I drive around the e brake light will flicker on the dash sometimes, then the windshield wipers won’t come on. Even when it’s parked and I turn on the wipers it won’t move them but I can here the motor trying to go. But when the e brake light isn’t on everything works great. Also when the light is on the pickup has a surge/stutters. I’ve checked the ground under the hood and all seems good. Any ideas?

 

Any chance it's weather related? I know on my F250 diesel - they are notorious for having the windshield gasket leak when it rains. This gets the GEM module wet - and causes all sorts of electrical gremlins.
