Pullin a Prizm

Pullin a Prizm
I got my beater car this weekend. A fairly clean 97 Geo Prizm with a ton of miles on it. I towed it home with my baby and man did she pull that thing with ease. (No big suprise I know!)
So here is the scoop on the Geo (Before you beat me up about it!):
The Good:
1. First and foremost, it was FREE!
2. It was well maintained its entire life by my girlfriends dad.
3. Fairly clean, no major rust.
4. Has newer winsheild (with warranty), new tires, newer exhaust.
5. Clean inside and everything works!
6. Ran like a top before my girlfriend got a newer car and she drives like a grandma.
7. Got around 30 mpg before she stopped driving it.
The Bad:
1. 250,000 miles! Ouch, but I know first hand 80% was highway. (She lived out in the middle of nowhere).
2. Sat for a year and now it won't start. Fuel pump died, luckily the tank is empty.
3. Never had transmission filter replaced or timing belt replaced, so I am going to do that as soon as I replace the fuel pump.
4. Blower motor sounds like an Apachie helicopter, thing it needs tightened up or replaced.
