Default Quick Question

Next week, i'm getting my new catback system put on. Its 2.5" pipe, with a Flowmaster 50 series, single in, dual out. A shop is doing the install. Will changing the exhaust, affect the computer at all, possibly throwing out a code? Catalytic converter is still the same. 4.8L 2003 Silverado. Thanx, Jim

no code the comp. only moniters to right after the cat but you can elimate the cat and get a o2 simulator which will keep the comp from throwing a code
