1999 Silverado 4wd

Heard a "pop - pop" nosie when turning the steering wheel and then heard fluid spraying under the hood. After refilling power steering pump with fluid, I cranked the truck back up to see where it was leaking. Looks like the seal is leaking b/t the rack and pinnon piston housing and the intermediate steering shaft?

I don't have any experience with power steering components and just wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem? If this is the problem, can I just replace the seal or do I need to replace the entire rack? Any help would be much apprecaited. I consider myself a weekend mechanic and feel like I can fix it myself. Just need some pointers!
