hey fellas was looking for some help with my radiator. i have a 2000 silverado 5.3 and my radiator needs replacing. my question is everywhere i look on line for new ones there are several options (trans cooler, size,ect..) shoulden't they all be the same? thanks in advance ps it is a automatic trans.

 

I would always go with the biggest one allowed. A heavy duty one that is used in the towing package. Bigger means more coolant to cool the engine.

 

If you only need a radiator then dont get the trans cooler unless you want to get a big and better one. You can get them for like 50 bucks and well worth it if you ask me.

 

speaking of radiators....it it possible to easily change to an electric fan?
